We’re currently working on an exciting new custom part request for one of our customers — and it’s a great example of what we do best here at The Parts Generator.
Our client recently purchased 16” Rota Grid alloy wheels for their stunning Honda Integra Type R DC2.There’s just one issue: the wheels didn’t come with centre caps.
As many Honda enthusiasts will know, sourcing original caps can be a serious challenge. To make things trickier, these particular wheels require a unique 63mm diameter cap, which rules out most off-the-shelf solutions.
That’s where we come in.
We’ve been commissioned to design and 3D print a set of precision-fit centre caps — styled after the original design with a bold, raised ‘H’ logo in the middle to honour the Honda brand.
The Goal:
- 🔩 Perfect 63mm fitment for 16” Rota Grids
- 🧩 Designed from scratch based on customer-supplied measurements
- 🅷 Finished with a raised ‘H’ logo for authentic styling
- 🖨️ 3D printed using durable, weather-resistant material
The Inspiration:
Below is an example wheel showing the type of centre cap we’re recreating:

And here’s the customer’s car — a real head-turner — currently fitted with the Rota Grids, but missing the centre caps:

This is exactly the kind of request that gets us fired up — blending function, aesthetics, and precise engineering to bring hard-to-find parts back to life.
We’ll post an update as soon as the caps are designed, tested, and fitted!
